I can't do "X" exercise, can I still run this program?
Yes you absolutely can, we added appropriate substitutions for each exercise in the program. If for whatever reason you can’t do an exercise (on any given day, or at all), then you'll be able to choose from the next best option in the dropdown found in your spreadsheet.
How long will the workouts take?
The workouts in the SFS Fat Loss program will take roughly 50-60 minutes to complete including the brief sample warmup we provided. Cardio workout sessions will vary depending on the modality you choose but they'll range from 15-45 minutes. Make sure to stick to the rest times and stay focused throughout your workout in order to have the most effective and efficient sessions.
What's the difference between the 4, 5 and 6 day option?
The major difference is that you'll have additional Cardio/HIIT sessions with the 5 and 6 day program. However, similar results can be achieved with all options. Make sure you consider your schedule and that it can accommodate the option you choose.
How much fat can I expect to lose?
If you diet is dialed in as prescribed by our nutrition guidance, you can expect a decrease in body fat percentage by around 6-12% in just 12 weeks.
Will I lose muscle if I cut fat?
Hopefully not. The major goal of this program is to lose fat NOT muscle. SFS Fat Loss focuses on research-backed methods to maintain muscle while cutting fat. This comes down to strategic strength training in addition to eating right and cardio training. It’s even possible to achieve the perfect balance where you lose fat while building muscle at the same time. That said, at a minimum, the aim is to preserve as much muscle mass a possible and this program teaches you and walks you through exactly how.
